1. Sandoval Aromatic Concentrate in Wood

We’ve become obsessed with diffusing. We diffuse pretty much everyday, so we’re constant going through essential oils and searching for new ones. Sandoval does someone the richest home fragrances.. All of their products are hand blended in California with only natural essential oils, absolutes, woods, and resins sourced from around the world (no synthetic perfumes and additives). Our favorite scent that we’ve tried is Wood. It’s a blend of vetiver, oakmoss, cedarwood, cardamom, marjoram, sandalwood, lavender and black pepper. If you like earthy scents, you’ll die for this one. We love that all of their scents also come in spray bottle form, but the cool thing about the concentrates is that you can also add a few drops (or a lot) into a bottle of (filtered) water and create your own air freshener spray. BTW, each bottle contains energy crystals – think carnelian and moonstone – to promote positivity and nurture the sensual energy of your body and home.

And let’s not forget to mention the gorgeous, black and white packaging. So excited that they now have a scented candle as well as incense in two new scents. Can’t wait to try them!

2. Evan Healy Pomegranate Repair Serum

Evan Healy is a brand we’ve recently discovered and feel in love with because of the powerful natural and organic ingredients used in each product. Nothing annoys us more than a product (natural or not) that sounds great, maybe even smells amazing, but doesn’t do anything. It’s a waste of money, time, energy, and sometimes stress…which usually leads to our skin acting up even more.

It’s a constant challenge to find natural product ranges that cater to our skin type and deliver products that are not only hard-working, but simple and easy to incorporate into our routine. Even Healy is the answer. From their Tea Tree Gel Cleanser to their Lemon Thyme Hydrosol, there’s a nice selection of products that suit acne-prone skin types (and plenty for dry/combination/normal as well, don’t worry!).

There are hero ingredients that we love to stick to because we have oily, acne-prone skin and are always conscious of preventing future breakouts, treating the active ones we have, or working to fade stubborn remnants of recent (and sometimes not so recent) blemishes. Ingredients like tea tree, jojoba, and rosehip. That’s where Evan Healy’s Pomegranate Repair Serum comes in. A recent discovery that’s brought on a subsequent obsession, is sea buckthorn, which is a natural retinoids is an anti-wrinkle and anti-acne king. It’s also packed with high content of vitamin E and C, which our skin can’t get enough of. There are other amazing things in this serum. It’s a blend of fruit, seed and berry oils. How luxe. It’s ideal for repairing and evening out the skin tone and bringing a natural radiance to the skin. It also contains one of our all-time favorite ingredients: rosehip seed oil.

Love that the texture of this serum is an oil instead of the thinner, more watery formulas you’ll find for two reasons: oils instantly make us feel safe that our skin is about to get properly moisture le even before we get to the moisturizing step and because sometimes the other kinds can be sticky and you have to wait for hem to dry before applying an oil or emollient moisturizer. No waiting around for this one. It dries instantly and you don’t feel like you dunked your face into a bowl of oil. In terms of packaging, the little pump perfectly disperses the right amount of oil you need so you’re not wondering how many drops to apply to your skin. Love products that take the work out of applying skincare for you. The only thing is this jar is very small and it would be incredible to have this in a double size.

3. The Poster Cub “Antibes”

We don’t know about you, but while art is an essential part of decor to make a place look homey, lived-in and give it some personality and character, it’s pretty intimidating. There are plenty of online-based shops that feature curated selections of modern, high-end posters and art that all instantly upgrade your apartment, but our go-to is The Poster Club after finding the most gorgeous print for our apartment.

We love a good conversational piece and line art is something we’ve recently fell in love with. The Peytil “Antibes”  is so gorgeous and perfect because while the lines are pretty abstract, it’s not so abstruse that it takes time to figure it out. The material of the actual poster is divine. We were expecting it to have a general paper feel to it, but it’s actually really luxurious and thick. All the posters comes in a nice quality (container) so it arrives perfectly smooth and if you need to travel with it, you won’t ruin it. You can also purchase frames on the site to fit your posters perfectly.

So excited that they’ve let us offer you guys 20% off on all (!) their prints + you also get free shipping, if you buy two or more prints when you use the code: GOCOCOLLECTIVE. They ship worldwide 🙂 Oh yeah, you’ll be doing yourself a major disservice if you don’t go follow them on Instagram. The decor inspo is another level.

4. Victoria Cator Touche Bois

Always on the look for your next favorite luxury candle like us? First of all the packaging of Victoria Cator’s collection, which is made in England, is stunning. A deep forest green vessel (which great weight) and gorgeous gold lettering. It looks perfect on any shelf or coffee table.

Now let’s talk scent. Touche Bois is a fiery, leather stanza of olfactory poetry. Imagine sandalwood, cedar wood, patchouli, musk with some pepper sprinkled in and topped with juniper and plum. The blend is so well crafted that it screams luxury. All the scents we’ve tried are nostalgic and being old memories of the front of your brain…or make you fantasize about creating new memories in the vibe of the fragrance. The fact that it has a double wick is just icing on an already delicious cake. This is a nice 9.5 ounces, which is a pretty large candle so the dual burning makes for a much cleaner burning experience and of course it also means the scent is thrown faster, which is really nice. You’ll get about 60 hours burn time on this one, which is perfect.

Or eyes are already on Rouge Ancien, a rosy, peppery scent with notes of eucalyptus, pinewood, and lavender. It sounds just as dreamy. Be sure to head over to Victoria Cator’s site and pick out one for yourself. Or maybe a few. These make such great holiday gifts.

5. Sara Happ The Lip Slip

Please allow us to introduce you to the best lip balm we’ve tried all year. Yup, all year. We went there.

You know how balms are usually opaque on the lips and subtle? The Lip Slip by Sara Happ is definitely a glossy balm. Each time you apply you feel like you’re treating yourself to an exclusive experience. And we mean it. It’s got a gorgeous combination of weet Almond, Jojoba and Macadamia nut oils. This one happens to be perfect for the fall/winter months because it’s a thicker-than-normal formula and forms a barrier against the cold/harsh air. Your lips don’t feel exposed or fragile when you’ve got this on. They just feel perfectly hydrated. And seriously, put this on in the morning and you won’t have to reapply until after you eat something messy. We’ve been sleeping in this every night this month and wake up with soft, supple lips. It’s been functioning like an overnight lip mask.

Most lip balms are not up to this standard. We usually find ourselves having to reapply most balms every hour or so. And while some of the more expensive balms we tried do a nice job at conditioning the lips, this one is best “outside” balm, meaning it’s perfect to wear outside while most balms are too subtle to wear alone outside. It also doesn’t have much of a scent, which is perfect for us. It’s also a great formula to layer over a matte lipstick if you want to add a little luster. The jar is small (.5 ounces) but a little really does go a long way. Maybe the best part is the formula is great for using on other areas like your cuticles. Or you can apply the leftovers on your fingertips to the highest point of your cheeks for a little highlight.

You can shop other luxurious lip products designed to exfoliate, hydrate, color, and restore on the Sara Happ site.

6. Leland Francis Luxe Body Oil

Because ain’t nobody got time to be ashy.

Growing up, it was all about cocoa butter and lotions. And while we still love moisturizing rough spots like elbows and knees with raw cocoa butter, oils are perfect for all-over body application and we (gasp!) prefer scented oils to lotions now, especially after our laser girl recently confirmed that oils will work best with our skin.

Unlike our face, our body’s skin is perpetually dry and extra dry during the fall/winter months so it’s vital that we stay on top of our hydrating routine this time of year. You already know how meticulous we are about the skincare products that we incorporate into our daily routines, but it wasn’t until recently that we got more choosy with the products we put on the skin of our body, which of course is he majority of the skin we own.

Not only does the Luxe Body Oil keep our skin perfectly hydrated and radiant even when the air is starting to get harsh, they’re some goodies inside that we love that are great for improving the look of our skin and keeping it healthy. This oil is a gorgeous blend of seventeen mainly organic oils and is packed with vitamins and antioxidants. This is why we love oils. Unlike lotions and creams that are typically filled with a bunch of filler ingredients, oils are nutrient-dense and can easily penetrate the skin and get working hard. The entire blend is lightweight and dries quickly so you don’t feel greasy when you get dressed. It’s a beautiful special product to keep on your shelf when you’re feeling particularly dry or to prevent your skin from drying out in the first place. Proactivity, guys.

7. Apoterra Tulsi Luminous Scrub with Lavender + Pink Sea Salt

A body scrub has become one of those absolute essentials that must be in our shower at all times. Exfoliating the skin on our bodies is just as important as exfoliating the skin on our faces. Personally, we really enjoy an abrasive scrub, the rougher the better, that gets a ton of dead skin off in one session. This scrub from Apoterra does exactly that, plus the tulsi and lavender scent is uplifting and quite therapeutic, which is great for that extra pick-me-up in the mornings. While the pink sea salt delivers minerals into your skin as you scrub, the coconut and shea oils protect your skin by providing intense moisture. And no, it doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy.

8. Keeko Botanical Teeth Whitening Pen

We’ll go ahead and admit it: we are weirdly obsessed with having super white teeth. For some reason, ever since we were in middle school we’ve wanted to have whiter and white teeth, and now that we’re into green beauty, we’ve had some fun trying to find effective natural alternatives for teeth whitening. This whitening pen from Keeko is pretty impressive.

First of all, all of Keeko’s products are 100% vegan, peroxide-free, palm oil-free and completely safe for veneers, crowns and people with sensitive teeth. Their Botanical Teething Whitening Pen has been clinically tested and shown to whiten teeth 5+ shades in only seven days. Now, while we can’t speak to the whole five-shades-whiter thing since our teeth literally can’t be whitened five shades (they’re already pretty white), this definitely helped to brighten our teeth, even those parts in between and around the edges.

Instead of using peroxide like most conventional teeth whiteners, Keeko uses bicarbonate soda and cranberry to safely whiten your teeth without damaging the enamel. Their formula also has aloe vera and chamomile to help soothe sensitive teeth while caring for your gums. Here’s how it works: first you brush your teeth and dry with a tissue so you start with a clean slate. Next, twist the pen base and once you can see the gel comes into the brush, smile big and brush each tooth with a layer of gel. Keep your mouth open (work that smile) until the the gel dries and that’s it. Application takes less than 30 seconds and will visibly whiten the teeth within 30 minutes! You have to try it.

9. Khus Khus Modern Herbal Fusion Blossom Hydrolat

We know. Another face mist. But they’re all different, we swear! This spray only has six ingredients which is great news right from the jump. All of Khus Khus’ formulas are non-GMO, 99% organic and 100% plant based, made from the highest quality plants available. We fall for any facial mist with witch hazel in it. Witch hazel is a powerful astringent and is possibly the strongest antioxidant hydrosol, which means is great to prevent premature signs of aging. We also love that it has petitgrain in it because it’s great to calm oily or combination skin.

10. Maaemo Purifying Gel Cleanser

This cleanser is designed for normal to oily skin so it works great for us. Lately we’ve really been loving purifying cleanser because the formulas are usually effective enough to remove dirt and impurities, yet gentle enough that it’s doesn’t strip your skin of its valuable natural oils. This botanical-rich cleanser does just that, plus the smell is a citrus lover’s dream. What do we always say? The Aussies get it right every time.

  1. There is a Sara Happ holiday set with Lip Slip, her signature scrub and another product (perhaps a mask) that keeps evading me. Every site that sells their products is sold out and I am pretty pouty about it. I thought it would be a nice way to try most of the things in her range. Your review has me extra pouty.

All of your scent recommendations are right up my alley. Wood sounds divine. Sandalwood and cedarwood put me to sleep better than This Works pillow sprays, tbh.

    1. I know right? Wood scents, especially cedar, are so soothing and comforting.

As for the gift set, try QVC. I believe they still have a gift set with The Lip Slip and the Exfoliating Lip Scrub available 🙂
